"there is nowhere to go
& there is nothing to do” - ram dass
when you're laying in the sun, a swarm of bugs illuminated by the light, hovering above the grass that sways in tandem with the trees in the wind. beside an animal who is not corroded by the thoughts of shame and worry when one slips too far into this moment ...
this is how it is. really now, we are faced w cleaning up everything that we've done to separate ourselves from this state of being. the thing that sets me free is that the only reason why i think to myself "you can't actually live life in this way, you're living in a fantasy" is because all i know is life within this society - not separate from, and no allowance to dream of a life outside of the limitations this society places on me. the recognition of what holds me back, sets me free it is possible. and it is beneficial, restorative imagine a planet where each human pursued their deepest calling, and had freedom to their creativity without a sense of being bogged down by haste, anxiety, and depression - which is partly fueled by the idea that you cannot explore your own, or life's, infinite potential.
i guess this may be radical. but why wouldn't we strive for life in this way? where all people can truly be free to live in the way they choose. i would have to make it clear too that if people don't want to live in the way i'm envisioning (one where life is not indoctrinated, one where we are free to live in collaboration and respect with the earth and our fellow species, one similar to how indigenous people live/lived their lives plus utilizing all that modern society has given us in an ethical, sustainable and lucrative way), then they don't need to. one thing i believe in is a being's right to choose - sovereignty and autonomy. and to choose a way of viewing this reality that is different than mine. but the ones that do want to live in this way ^ should absolutely be afforded that. not only for an authentic acknowledgment of ones rights, but for the health of our planet and the evolution of our consciousness as a whole. bob marley sang about the liberation of consciousness in many of his songs. there are so many ways we are limited and disempowered and abused by the structures (whether that be psychological, emotional, spiritual, or physical) of our society. so many individuals, in ways i have no sense of, experience these things in such a heavy way. and we all do. it's okay to deviate from what you've always been told, and from the structures that instill fear into your being and consciousness - the way you experience life. it's your right to step away from and put boundaries in place to protect yourself, no matter how much or how little you interact with it. last night i got off the phone with my dad, after explaining some of my thoughts pertaining to this subject, i said in thanks, "not many people would listen to what i'm saying openly and without judgment". he said, "you know, when people talk to you, they have to just let go". i think what i ask of you is to let go of what you're used to, and what you consider the possibility of our future. grant yourself the freedom to be open to a future whose potential you cannot think up. allow yourself the acknowledgment of the things you do not know.
physics says that like attracts like. when we start to vibrate at the frequency of a way of life, we will begin to attract it. to vibrate at this frequency, we must have belief in its potential, and allow ourselves to truly be in and experience moments in life as it is now that are in line with what you'd like to experience more of in the future. regardless of what you were once told is possible or not.
(more on the science of manifestation next time, after i get to pick Jesse's mind (hey jesse); my friend who majored in psychics and engineering at uf (genius status))
for now, all i know is that matter is slowly moving energy, and thoughts are quickly moving energy - what you believe about life, get attracted back to you. the energy and frequency you operate at, breeds more things within that same frequency.
let yourself believe in the possibility of a life that feels truly free to you. and believe that it is possible. because it is.
we may not have everything we want, but we have everything we need.
thank you all for being here eeeeeeeek i haven't found the desired method of discourse yet, because i would like more of a collective dialogue, but for now email is where its at. if you have any other ideas please lmk, and if you'd like to share your thoughts/experience with this please do as well. and if it's cool with you i'll even share them in the next one so it can feel more communal. so tell me... what does your "heaven on earth" look like? sending you all belief in that & a lovely venus-infused day ☀️ 🍃 -emma
