the story never truly ends

Our stories with people or places never truly come to an end. The relationships we once knew have “died” in a sense, and that’s just part of the story.

Loss and grief is a piece of the web of emotions and experiences one has in relationship to anything in their life.

How can we be so sure something is over, when our story isn’t over yet?

Does death indicate the ending of our story? I don’t think so.

Maybe death is a macrocosm for what “loss” really is; just a transition. Filled with the intensity and reality of every emotion and tie.

I love you
